Equine Work Experience

Since I was little, I felt a great love for horses and, along with that, a love for the LLANO there roots and customs. The daily routine on a farm like the one that I grew up in VENEZUELA started at 5 in the morning, collecting the cattle together with their young from the paddocks and then being separated to start the milking of the cows.

Once the milking is finished, the daily routines are started, such as checking all the pastures' fences and wiring. After that, I carry out the examinations of the previously checked animals and would need cures for cuts and grazes and provide vitamins if needed.

Throughout this process, a routine is also applied for the competition and exhibition horses from the farm starting from the morning. All the stables are cleaned daily, and they are given their daily food throughout the day, as well as their exercise routine, also check for signs that an animal is unwell, and treating minor injuries.

Specialities

Keeping the horses clean and well-fed, filling hay nets and water buckets, measuring feed and any supplements required. Leading horses from their stables to the fields and back.
