I have owned or loaned a horse for the last 3 years and have been riding 6 years. I have volunteered at a riding school on the weekends and school holidays for over two years now.

I have experience volunteering at a riding school on weekends and during school holidays. This includes tasks such as stable duties and getting the riding school horses groomed and tacked up for their lessons. Some of these stable duties include mucking out of stables, poo picking of fields, holding horses for the vet and farrier. I also have done some basic first aid on horses such as cleaning of wounds. I can also observe horses to notice if they are acting out of the ordinary or have sustained any injuries. This volunteering has helped develop my task management skills, teamwork and communication skills. I have done this most weekends for over two years.
