Equine Work Experience
I have been in the equestrian industry for around nearly 9 years. I have worked with various different horses over the years. I have volunteered with the riding for the disabled association for a number of years and worked in a breakers yard alongside a trekking farm.i also have experience with race horses in the point to point races. I am quite knowledgeable and a very keen learner.
Specialities
I have worked with various different horses of all temperaments over the years, worked with mares and foals to Race horses to equitation horses. I have the ability to take charge when required. I am good at mucking out and take turnout of horses very seriously. I consider myself a very good team leader as well as being able to take solo charge with high levels of using my initiative
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden riding school horses in the past and part loaned for competition. I have basic jumping and flat experience. I am very eager to learn more and improve my riding to further help my career further down the line. I prefer to work horses from the ground and have experience long reining and lungeing
Competition Details
I’ve helped with running of competitions at my local arena in Northern Ireland to which I would have a high knowledge on how competitions should run.
I’ve also competed myself in jumping and dressage at a low level
I also have basic knowledge in racing
