I have completed an 18month NVQ Level 2 Equine Apprenticeship for an International Grand Prix Dressage Rider.

Duties of Current Occupation
General yard duties. Riding and lunging. Helped with breaking in young horses. Grooming at competitions, such as International competitions. Clipping. Plaiting. Dealing with the vet, farrier and clients. Sole charge of the yard.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked for a Grand Prix Rider for 2 1/2 years also within this time completing a 18month NVQ level 2 Apprenticeship. I have also worked for a Para Rider grooming at international competitions for him.
Specialities
I have worked with foals, stallions and broodmares. When I am grooming a horse I can turn them out to a high standard and I am also efficient, keeping my eye on the time if there is a time that the horse needs to be ready for. I am quick and efficient when mucking out and like to make sure that after I have finished that the yard is all clean and tidy.
Type of Ride Work
I have worked for an International Grand Prix Dressage Rider and I have hacked horses out and have schooled them up to Advanced Medium level. I have ridden young and green horses and have had experience starting a young horse.
Competition Details
I have competed up to Elementary level myself. I have been a competition groom for two riders, one being an International Grand Prix Rider and the other being a Para Rider.
