I started volunteering at my local riding stables at the age of 16. During my time there, I was poo picking fields, mucking out stables, tacking/un-tacking horses for when they were required for lessons, turning out, and lead reining children when they were riding. After, I continued to gain experience with equines when I had to work with the ponies at college during duties and I was also regularly riding at college. While at college, I completed work experience at HorseWorld rescue charity in Bristol where I completed the same tasks as above.
