Equine Work Experience
I have worked on a riding school yard as a groom. Taking up, mucking out, cleaning tack and making sure horses are ready for lessons. I worked here for just under a year.
I’m also still currently a yard manager on a yard of over 40 horses. I’ve been doing this for 5 years.
I have worked with all different kind of horses from young stock to elderly retired horses. I’ve bred my own warmblood foals. I’ve showjumped affiliated as well and backing and schooling young horses.
I’ve lead a yard ground team and also completed my horse management L2 and Business administration L2. I have my maths and GCSE English. I’m confident around new people and love to learn. I can muck out different types of bedding in stables and helped rehabilitate horses from box rest.
Type of Ride Work
I have worked with all types of horses from green youngsters to horses needing rehabilitation. After box rest. I have backed youngsters and also helped people with their problem horses to achieve the best results.
I’ve hunted, showjumped affiliated, shown to county level and done flatwork.
I have a lot of experience with youngsters both on the ground and ridden.
