Duties of Current Occupation
Currently working for a research study after recovering from a fall, but looking to get back to what I love doing the most, which is caring for and riding horses!
Equine Work Experience
Have worked as a groom for Harry Meade for three summers. Worked as head groom at Samantha York FBHS (Oakring Stud & Performance Horses), experience of breaking young horses in. Worked as a groom for Ryall's Farm Livery Good experience at events, plait to a high standard. Ridden to Elementary level in dressage with a horse belonging to Sam York. 2:1 achieved in BSc Equine Sports Science at Nottingham Trent University. Worked at Riding for the Disabled in Singapore when living there with my parents. Spent a week at the Northern Racing School during my time at university.
Specialities
Have worked with unbacked horses through to 5* event horses. Turnout/plait to a high standard. Efficient at general yard duties.
Type of Ride Work
Have broken in young horses, worked with horses in injury rehabilitation, ridden Advanced level eventers (not in competition). Also ridden to Elementary level in dressage. Have done flat work, jumping, cross country.
Competition Details
Have worked for Harry Meade Eventing during the summers of 2016, 2017 & 2018. Worked as both a home and competition groom. Worked for Sam York as head groom for her dressage, show jumping and eventing competitions. Have also ridden in low level affiliated and unaffiliated eventing competitions gaining confidence with a problem horse. Ridden the same problem horse to elementary level training.
