I am qualified in human and equine First-Aid. I am about to qualify as a trek leader with the Edinburgh University Exmoor Pony Trekking Society, as I have almost finished the year-long training course.

I am an experienced and confident rider, and am happy riding all sorts of horses. I have been riding regularly for over 12 years, first in lessons at riding schools, then helping school and train riding school and livery horses, whilst continuing with my lessons. Since going to university, I have been training and competing on the university teams, as well as having regular lessons. During this year, I have also trained to become a trek leader with the Edinburgh University Exmoor Pony Trekking Society, where I train new additions to our herd, and regularly lead public treks with our clients. I have worked and volunteered at several different yards, so am confident around horses and happy riding lots of different horses, and schooling/training horses. I am also very used to working with members of the public, both adults and children.

I have lots of experience in trekking/hacking, schooling and training horses, including green and young horses. I have done some dressage and jumping, and was selected to compete in my university's equestrian team, where I compete in both dressage and style-jumping.
