NVQ Diploma in Horse Care and Riding
Duties of Current Occupation
Feeding, mucking out, exercising, lunging, turning out, bandaging, grooming/bathing, tacking, handling mares and foals, health checks.
Equine Work Experience
- I have been brought up on a family yard
- First job as a groom at a local Equestrian centre
- Completed a work based diploma in Horse Care and Riding via Greenmount Agricultural College
- Worked as a competition groom/home rider, solely responsible for 12 high calibre horses of all ages. Responsible for feeding, mucking out, health checks, turning out, exercising and maintaining the cleanliness of the yard.
Worked in Germany as a groom on a world class dressage yard
currently working at a equestrian centre.
