I currently do not have any equine qualifications but I have 9 GCSES grade a-c , 3 a levels in photography, health and social care and religion and a degree in sociology with criminology and Ulster university however , my dream is to work within the equine career.

My current role involves overseeing and supporting detainees, meeting their needs within company and Home Office guidelines. My previous experience in the equine field includes work experience in Canada at an Olympic showjumping yard.

I have taken care of many horses from a young age loaning them and doing daily tasks with them. I also helped out at a local riding school mucking out, turning horses out, grooming, riding and leading younger riders around the paddock during lessons. I also have re trained my own off the track thoroughbred which helped me gain experience working with a young horse .I have also worked at an Olympic show jumping yard in Canada caring for many horses , duties included mucking out, grooming, bathing ,preparing, administrating feed , turning out , lunging , preparing and attending shows and over all care and well being for these fit horses . This job helped me learn a lot about horse care and gave me valuable experience.

I enjoy all aspects of riding and would be open to anything that I would come across .
