Equine Work Experience

my contact is: 07598364486 I owned 2 horses for over twenty years, been around them my whole life, they are my passion. I have taught RDA and at able bodied riding schools I have experience in various areas of horse skills. I have driven horses for pleasure and competition, I have trained race horses, worked at stud farm, shown horses in hand and show jumped and evented myself plus grooming for top eventers in Ireland. I have managed both riding schools and trekking facilities in Ireland. I have broken and trained young stock and my time in veterinary nursing I have found extremely advantageous when working with horses.

Specialities

I have excellent communication and organizational skills which I believe are vital for working in the horse environment. Everything has its place and I believe communicating with horses in a natural way to be beneficial to their health and wellbeing. I am motivated, hard working and I work well of my own initiative and as part of a team. My friendly yet professional demeanor and positive outlook allows me to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers alike.

Type of Ride Work

I love schooling and exercising horses both on the flat as well as jumping, my main passion is for cross country. I have shown young stock in hand at The Balmoral Horse Show, Northern Ireland. I am also passionate at schooling and breaking young horses as I feel they need to be taught natural horsemanship in a safe and trusting environment without force so they can become the best in their field.

Competition Details

I have competed at SJA level showjumping and Eventing Ireland with my own horses as well as those belonging to other breeders.
