BHS STAGE 1 complete horsemanship BHS STAGE 2 Ride, care, and Lunge

I work two part time jobs. One in a grocery store where I look after the tolls and the stores. The other is riding and caring for 2 horses 4 days a week.

I have been riding for 14 years at local/regional riding club levels. I’ve had approximately 8 years experience of owning a horse as I’ve owned my own pony for three years with 2 years of full loaning experience before. I have had 2 horses on loan since up until June 2020, one of which I’ve came second in the Northern Ireland British riding clubs showjumping championships I have completed the BHS Stage 1 complete horsemanship and the BHS Stage 2 ride, care, and lunge, and currently completing the BHS Stage 2 Teach. I have also around 4 months experience with looking after, and supporting a small business that breaks in and schools horses. In the previous 2 years, I have been riding and looking after 2 horses 4 days a week which includes cleaning stables checking horses, exercising horses and putting horses out/in etc. Currently I am riding/caring for horses at a private yard on the weekends as I have an additional job as an animal technician during the week.

I enjoy all aspects of riding, from hacking to eventing. I have participated in local shows and enjoyed looking after and caring for horses over the years.

I currently do more flat work/dressage and hacking however I have experience jumping courses up to 1.20/1.30m. I enjoy all disciplines and enjoy working with horses. I have a small amount of experience breaking in horses and experience with younger horses.
