Have worked in a riding school and been a student stud hand at a Stud for a short time. Most recently I have been a groom on a private yard for the last 3.5 years. Turning horses in and out, mucking out, feeding, handling foals, general yard duties.

Have previously worked at a riding school for three years, with a mix of different types of horses and a variety of different duties. Bringing in from the field, grooming, tacking up for lessons, taking some lower level lessons, leading hacks. Keeping an eye on field maintenance and takings steps if needed. Making feeds and adjusting with the managers go ahead when required to keep the weight and energy levels where they should be. Worked as a team but within own roles, a lot of sole work as big farm/school. Have most recently been on a private yard working as a groom/yard staff taking sole charge regularly. All normal duties undertaken.

Have previously worked on a stud with mares and foals. Have a little experience with handling foals and young stock. Very willing to learn new skills and develop riding.

Have ridden various different horses, having been in a riding school previously. Most recently been riding some low level eventers, (sports horses and ponies) mainly hacking and the odd bit of low level in the school(mainly for me to have lessons). Never hunted, not jumped since I was a child.
