Equine Work Experience

I worked at Brook Farm Dressage for almost 9 years before being made redundant in March 2021. Brook Farm was sold and my employer moved over seas.

During my time at Brook Farm I spent one year in Norfolk following my (then) partners career. I freelanced at different yards and gained experience in lots of different fields within the industry. My focus and passion really is with Dressage and the breeding and training that goes with it. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of horse care and strive to present myself, the horses and the yard to a high standard. I enjoy riding but am equally happy to stay on the ground and work the yard. I am a good team player and thrive in a busy and friendly environment.

Specialities

Turn out and muck out to a high standard.

Show/ competition prep to a high standard

Enjoy keeping a tidy yard. I am hardworking, punctual, reliable and respectful to others.

Enjoy working alone or as part of a fun team.

I enjoy all aspects of horse care with a keen interest in Dressage. My love for Dressage came after working with my previous employer and her Dressage horses of 9 years.

I am used to handling fit competition horses including stallions, broodmares and foals.

Competition Details

I have assisted in organising and running unaffiliated dressage competitions, from arena preparation the day before to stewarding on the day! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have groomed at Dressage competitions for my previous employer, travelling to UK shows with her young horses.
