GCSEs: English: 6 Maths: 4 Science: 6 I have my drivers license, 7 GCSEs and my bronze Duke of Edinburgh award. I also went to the British Racing School and got a Distorted for my Level 2

My main duties in my occupation are exercising up to 5 fit, young racehorses everyday in the morning and in the evening I look after 6 horses. I have to make them look impeccable, full brush over, curry comb and hot cloth, and oil feet.

I have been riding horses for 20 years, I have a huge passion for show jumping and used to compete on my college equestrian team competing around the UK. I have worked on several yards covering several disciplines and am currently working on a racing yard. I exercise the race horses everyday and break in yearlings or bring horses back into work. I also take them racing all across England several times a week.

I am quick and efficient at mucking out as i always have to work in a high pressured environment, I have to keep yards immaculate at the end of morning stables. My horses always have to been turned out to a very high standard especially when owners are in and I always have to be smartly presented. I work in a team with lots of colleagues, I’ve worked with young colts/ yearlings and stallions.

I’ve ridden all kinds of horses from breaking them in as yearlings, riding green horses and producing them into show jumpers. I have also hunted.

I have competed throughout my time at school and when I was in college. I used to go out showjumping most weekends. I have worked in a small showjumping yard where it was just me looking after and riding 5 horses. I went to away shows and local shows as a competition groom.
