all general yard duties, bandaging, clipping, show prep, grooming, tacking up (turning out to high standards) keeping yard and horses tidy. ground working (lunging and long reining), treadmilling, veterinary treatments.

having worked as a professional groom for several years, i have been fortunate enough to work with top dressage horses and riders, grooming for these riders has given me abundant experience in handling fit competition horses including stallions, daily care, checking legs, tacking up and very high standards. having studied BSc (Hons) racehorse performance and rehabilitation at Hartpury University, not only do i have practical experience, i have up to date knowledge of the science behind performance horses therefore, how best to care for them with optimal welfare and performance in mind. Having been a yard manager for a state of the art equine rehabilitation yard where i worked closely with vets and paraprofessionals to create the best plan for each individual horse. Grooming for the dressage barn at keysoe international enabled me to take huge pride in the turnout of my horses whilst supporting a large team. whilst recently working individually to impeccably care for four horses.
