Equine Work Experience
I have been around and worked with horses all my life. From riding school ponies to event horses etc. Am very rusty at riding as haven’t ridden in almost a year but won’t take me long to get back into it i’m sure. Can do basic yard duties such as mucking out, turn out, grooming, tacking up, bathing, lunging etc. Would love to learn to clip and plait as doing it on your own horse is not the same! Very comfortable around any horse even the tricky ones.
Specialities
Good at keeping yard clean and tidy to a high standards. Have experience working at a riding school leading and looking after young children. Worked around pre training race horses and broodmares. Along with Shetland ponies, Event horses and foals/ yearlings.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a range of horses from shetlands to project type youngsters. I’ve been involved particularly with backing a horse as a light weight jockey but this was a while ago. Schooling, Hacking will be fine bit rusty on my jumping due to not riding in a while but as stated wouldn’t take me long to get back into it.
