Duties of Current Occupation

Schooling and producing competition horses and ponies

Equine Work Experience

I have ridden and owned own ponies and horses from a very young age. I have had the opportunity to have consistent and excellent coaching throughout my riding career. For the last four years I have both worked in producing ponies and horses for a professional yard (up until Covid19 pandemic) and my own horse and ponies. I have competed at regional and national dressage competitions on my own and other's horses and ponies and enjoy this aspect of the sport. I am used to a variety of horses and ponies, from cobs to advanced dressage horses, and am skilled at getting the best out of a horse, whatever their limitations. I am also experienced at hacking and exercising, including fast work and have schooled horses over coloured and natural fences. Recent videos are available on request. I am currently training at PSG level and my own horse is training at medium.

Specialities

Assessing and schooling a diverse range of horses and ponies. Skilled at building a relationship with a horse or pony quickly and working them quickly to the best of their ability.

Type of Ride Work

Seeking part time work riding and schooling. Available for yard and grooming duties and have driving license and happy to contribute to any team. Excellent customer facing skills and experienced at dealing with conflicting and varied needs and requirements from clients and team members. Ideally seeking equestrian work that includes schooling and hacking, as experienced and skilled at riding a variety of ponies and horses.
