Equine Work Experience
I have gained practical equine experience through many years of working with horses. My experience has included schooling, lunging, foaling, handling stallions and young stock, grooming to a high standard, show turnout, medicating, tack fitting, loading, towing, yard management, field maintenance, and supporting good horse welfare standards. I am comfortable working independently or as part of a team and always aim to provide careful, reliable care while continuing to learn and improve my skills and knowledge.
Specialities
Equine specialities include successfully breeding and producing five horses of my own, with a strong passion for stud work. Experienced in broodmare care, foaling, weaning, desensitising, handling young stock, and stallion handling. I also have extensive experience in calving, farrowing and lambing
Type of Ride Work
Used to jump in the past. Not overly keen on it anymore. I focus more on flatwork now but will happily do poles and low level course of jumps.
