Currently I am in my final year of university studying for a BSc in Geography. I then hope to complete my PGCE at Birmingham University in Secondary Education.

I have been riding for over 14 years, mainly in a school environment, and have loaned for 6 months, carrying out general yard duties, including turning out and grooming. I have not worked in a professional equestrian environment but have volunteered on a yard.

I have 5 years of guest service experience, which has included working as part of a team, as well as working with the general public. When working on a yard I ensure it is kept tidy and to a high standard, as well as cleaning tack after every use.

I have experience of riding both younger and older horses of differing temperaments (some very placid and some strong headed) in schooling environments. I am competent and confident at both flat work and jumping up to 90cm. I also have experience of hacking on roads and bridle ways. I have limited knowledge of cross-country work, but I would like to expand on this. I also loaned a horse for approximately 6 months (ended due to starting university and him going lame).
