Me and my partner live in our self converted camper van with our smart tiny horse aware dog. My partner is also horse savvy and available to do general yard duties.

Duties of Current Occupation

I currently am sole charge/ yard manager at a small private yard in Wales. I am responsible for re- training the horses here and helping them be ready to continue their riding career.

Equine Work Experience

Training / yard management in wales

Re-educating 4 horses with behavioural problems including teaching life skills and re-backing to make hacking appropriate horses that no longer bolt. Preparing horses to be family appropriate happy hackers.

Trainer/ rider in Spain

Training youngsters for clients at a natural horsemanship yard ready to return to clients as all rounders/ happy hackers/ working farm horses. Re educating horses with behavioural issues.

Trainer/ organiser / barefoot trimmer in Guatemala

Re training 16 horses ready for a long distance ride across Guatemala. Trimming and wellbeing management for all the hoses

Trainer/ rider in Costa Rica

Starting young horses to be hacking appropriate for experienced riders. Working with stallions and young-stock as well as rescues.

Yardperson/ rider in Spain

Getting 8 horses hacking fit for the season and taking clients on hacks.

Type of Ride Work

Starting/ restarting youngsters is my favourite type of work to do. I like to work with natural horsemanship techniques and adapt to the horses individual needs and client/brief requirements producing horses that are mentally, emotionally and physically fit.
