Hello there, my name is Morgan, I’m 28 and have lived, volunteered and worked with horses all of my life. I have experienced in livery yards, competition yards and private run home yards. I grew up on a hunt yard.Qualifications
I do not have any qualifications, purely knowledge based on learning from various different riders, owners and specialities.
Duties of Current Occupation
Turn in/out Animal care Rugging Muck/skip out Riding on flat, hack and jumping. Taking sets out for daily exercise. Grooming. Farrier, vet, physio, chiropractor. Transporting in trailer or horse box (limit on weight due to licence) Poo picking.
Equine Work Experience
I have ridden and been around horses since age 3. I have competed up to 90cm. I have ridden a variety of horses during freelancing, from foresters to Warmblood/ID types. I have a sticky seat and am comfortable getting on the difficult cases most would avoid. I can’t complete yard duties to a high standard in good time and work well sole charge or as a team. I’m clean, tidy and motivated. I enjoy introducing new experience to young, or mistreated horses. Such as in hand walking to new places and desensitisation. I have volunteered at riding schools and polo yards.
