Currently completing a degree in equine science in Hartpury university hoping to pursue a career in equine physiotherapy. Completed a week of work experience at the Talland School of Equitation. I was previously working towards my side saddle grade exams to one day get my coaching certificate however never completed them due to a change in circumstance.

Currently studying BSc (Hons) Equine Science in Hartpury university. My degree involves a range of modules including riding, industry, first aid/ veterinary science, biomechanics and anatomy. Hoping to progress into a physiotherapy career.

Ridden numerous horses at Hartpury as part of the equitation module on my course, will be completing the advanced equitation module as part of my 2nd year alongside a range of diverse modules. I had an amazing opportunity after winning a training bursary to ride grand prix dressage horses learning to piaffe, passage etc. Completed a weeks work experience in the Talland School of Equitation. Never worked on a professional yard however I am eager and excited to gain more experience.

I have experience with youngsters having a homebred 3 year old filly and also another 3 year old filly who we had as a two year old lightly handled. I can turn out to a high standard and get yard duties done quickly and efficiently. I have plaited up before with both needle and thread and elastic bands but I do need more practice to get them perfect! I keep all yard areas clean and tidy.

I have ridden a range of different types of horses from sharp competition ponies to thoroughbreds. I have experience jumping different types of horses and can adapt my riding to suit each individual horse. I have lots of flat work, schooling and fitness experience and one day would love to go hunting. Currently have a Tb x ID youngster who has just been broken and is now having a short break before coming back into work after Christmas.

Previously show jumped nationally up to 1.20m on ponies, including being placed at POYS. Regularly scored upwards of 70% in prelim and novice. Numerous wins competing side saddle, including the royal welsh, three counties, etc. Junior side saddle rider of the year 2017. Placed in HOYS working hunter qualifiers. Looking to get experience on a competition yard as a groom or ride/groom to gain skills and further knowledge.
