I have no equine related qualifications

I’ve worked in a riding school for about 4 years. 3 of those as a volunteer.

I’ve worked alongside foal where I was given the responsibility of bringing him in and out of the field as well as handling him in the stable. I’ve worked with a handful of stallions and ridden a couple. I have experienced leading a smaller team on the yard but i am confident in leading a larger team out on a ride. I’m confident in taking control when needed. I like to keep my areas very tidy and organised to ensure that everything is easy to access as well as keeping up yard saftey

I’ve ridden many types of horses , mainly higher strung horses and pony’s. I’ve assisted in breaking in and bringing on many ponies for the riding school I worked at. I enjoy riding all disciplines but enjoy show jumping the most.

I’ve been a completion groom many times where I assisted on loading and unloading the horses , tacking up , organising the tack in the truck and many other responsibilities. I’ve been a competition groom for hickstead, brendons, golden cross and other venues. I’ve never really competed as I enjoy being a groom.
