BHS Stage 2
I currently run a yard on behalf of Tom George, this means I am in charge of all daily duties; feeding, mucking out, grooming etc. I also exercise Tom's wife's hunters and help bring the race horses back in to work on a daily basis.
I ran a livery yard for numerous years and I now currently work with race horses. I've been riding for 22 years and owned my own horse for 13 years.
I currently work in racing however this is new to me, I have a lot of experience in backing and schooling young and difficult horses. I have competed my own horse, who I have owned for 13 years, in showing and show jumping. I am a confident rider who likes I challenge. I can trim, plait and clip to a high standard
I'm confident in most aspects of ridden work and happy to take on a challenge. I have also done 2 hunting seasons
I have only ever competed locally and I had started to show jump at Aintree International, however my horse had a serious accident so I had to retire him.
