Duties of Current Occupation

Worked with horses from child into early twenties, owned my own horses and ponies, from Shetlands to Anglo Arabs. helped out here and there at other yards. Backed, broke, brought on young horses. General yard duties. Travelling to shows. Flatwork.

Equine Work Experience

25 years of experience including owning my own horses/ponies Backing/breaking young horses/ponies Experience with Mountain & Moorland ponies including Welsh Ponies and New Forest ponies I have a little Polo experience too after assisting a Polo Groom Experience with difficult, nervous and problem horses Competed at local unaffiliated shows, jumping, in hand showing and ridden showing. General yard duties at a couple of riding schools, mucking out, turning horses out, feeding etc. Mostly taking care of my own horses, have owned Shetland ponies, Welsh ponies, New Forest ponies, Anglo Arabs. Hacking out alone and in company. Gymkhanas (light enough and small enough to ride the ponies!) Helping out at riding schools, leading ponies, grooming and tacking up the ponies ready for lessons, bringing in and turning out. Assisting with lessons and fun shows the riding school held.
