I completed the 9 week course at the British Racing School in 2012, however decided at the time I was better suited to Stud work, meaning I have an apprenticeship from the National Stud. I went back to the BRS in 2020 and completed the 3 day Racing Secretary Course.

Non equine related I have A-Levels in Geography (B), Food Technology (B) and Sociology (C). I also have Maths (B), English (A & B) & Science (C) GCSEs.

Running the office on a day to day basis, organising twice weekly sales & Britains largest sheep sale, communication with Farmers & sorting paperwork issues for them, payments & invoicing.

As above I previously worked at Kirtlington Stud as a stud hand - helping with all aspects of the stud including night shifts, vet visits, farriers, yearling & foal sales preparations. Although I don’t own my own horse currently, I have ridden since I was 11 and have had my own horse in the past. For the past 3 1/2 years I have looked after & ridden a horse for a lady who could no longer ride herself. I have ridden racehorses but not for a while.

Whilst I currently work at Thame Livestock Market, my previous role was a Stud Hand at Kirtlington Stud, I completed an apprenticeship from the National Stud and spent time at the British Racing school. I have experience in working with racehorses, broodmares, yearlings & foals. Working in these environments means I can muck out quickly and to a high standard whilst keeping the yard clean & tidy.
