Duties of Current Occupation
Daily yard duties such as mucking out( straw and shavings) feeding, maintaining a nice, clean yard. Turning out, changing rugs , exercising and lunging horses etc and basic day to day care.
Equine Work Experience
I have worked at a BHS approved riding school and livery yard for 4 years and completed my level 2 horse health and care apprenticeship with Keits. I volunteered on weekends at the yard since I was 14 and have been riding since I was 13.
I have been teaching for the past year or so and complete the daily tasks such as turning out, feeding, mucking out etc.
I also had training for both stable management and riding, weekly , with a BHS stage 5 performance coach for nearly 2 years.
Specialities
Mainly yard management and duties but i have been teaching regular lessons weekly for the past year or so.
