My current qualifications include - Completed - Level 3 extended diploma in animal care/ husbandry - Grade - Merit (City and guilds at Berkshire college of agriculture)

• Level 2 team building skills

Although my current occupation is landscaping I'm trained and qualified in animal husbandry as well as having several years of open farm management experience. Duties include - mucking out, administrating meds and general farm management.

I'm currently Volunteering at a polo club in gloustershire where my partner works as a groom to further my experience in the equine industry. Both helping with the general yard work including mucking out, poop picking, cleaning tack, feeds, haying up, rugging horses, general tidying the yard and school stables and helping out at the odd polo games with the groom's. In addition to some of the volunteer work, I previously worked on a open farm of which had a very naughty little Shetland pony 'basil' that I cared for around the year, hoof picking daily, grooming, weight/ diet management, assisting the farrier, administration of meds and general husbandry were my main duties with the charming chap.

I have previouse riding experience from a few years back when I use to ride at several riding schools in Buckinghamshire so it won't take much to pick up reins again!

• I pride myself at working very efficiently and to a high standard as well as keeping areas of work tidy at all times.
• Medical experience will all livestock including horses.
• Some previous riding experience - very keen to further my experience!
• Wide experience of landscaping including fencing as I run my own landscaping business.

My previous riding experience includes flat arena work on medium sized horses. We did learn some jumping. I have furthered my experience abroad by going on horse back Safaris across South Africa as well as mixed terrain riding through the mountains and valleys of Tenerife of whick was stunning. Although I have limited riding experience at the moment I'm a very quick learner and very physically able due to my current work and regular exercise.
