Bio
Hi there I am 59 and have been around horses all my life. I've bought many horses from Ireland, backed them, evented and competed them and sold them on. I am now looking for a slightly quieter life but very much around horses and country life!😊Qualifications
No official qualifications, just heaps of experience!
Duties of Current Occupation
I ran a private family yard, had some charge of your horses. One being an eventer which I prepared for the season. I have lessons to the teenage daughter who rode him and took her to competitions.
Equine Work Experience
Although no official qulifications I have been around horses for 45 years! I have a great deal of experience having owned and competed horses all my life! Had a very successful spell at eventing upto Novice level. Dressage is far more appealing these days! although I have never focused on this discipline wholly.
Specialities
Eventing predominantly. Also buying unbroken youngsters from Ireland and producing them to sell. My favourite aspect of this is the flatwork side!
Type of Ride Work
I very much enjoy and have had much success at bringing young horses on from initially breaking them through to eventing.
Competition Details
All sorts! Many unaffiliated dressage competitions, usually placed, a few wins!!
Show jumping, BS and unaff.
BE eventing.
