Equine Work Experience
I have a couple years experience from working at Farley hall equestrian centre and Litchfield equestrian. And most recently been managing a private show yard and riding most of the week for the past year.
I am confident to muck out stables of any size and type.
Will Happily ride anything as long as not dangerous.
I am confident handling fit competition horses, and can deal with their cheekiness in a firm positive manner.
I am a great team worker and can follow instructions but can also give them out too if necessary.
I can also clip and hog manes and feathers. I can jump so if jumping needed I can help.
Specialities
I may have not had experience with foals/broodmares or stallions but I am a very quick learner and I'm certain I could pick it up in no time!
I have run a yard completely on my own and believe I can lead a team if needed to.
I am trustworthy and very patient but also firm and positive with my actions.
I am fairly quick at mucking out and stables are always spotless once I'm done with them.
There's nothing more satisfying to me then a clean and tidy yard and horses.
Type of Ride Work
I've been jumping over 80cm.
I'm a confident rider and have been riding a 5 year old show cob that likes to test his limits and I react to that in a firm and positive manner. I don't mind riding anything as long as it's not dangerous. But I do love a good plod along :)
Competition Details
I have worked at Farley hall equestrian centre and have gone to competitions to groom for one of our clients.
I now run a private show yard and prepare the cobs for shows.
