I have some previous experience with yard work. My experiences include feeding, changing waters, hay nets, mucking out, leading horses to each field, grooming, hoof picking.

I have some riding experience but only walking, pole work, and a small amount of trotting, but I have a good amount of experience in yard duties. I also have experience of different yard duties including mucking out, making food and feeding, changing water, filling and tying up haynets, poo picking, leading horses between fields and stables, and grooming. I also have experience with Shetland ponies and loading them on and off trailers. My experience with Shetland ponies came from working with Pathway Ponies which is equine based emotional support. I was involved in working with the ponies when doing party for children which included showing them how to correctly groom them and all the basic knowledge that comes with ponies.

I haven’t had much experience with riding as I only rode a horse for the first time earlier this year but I have been working on my flat work in an outdoor school. This included me learning the corset positioning to ride and learning the basics of what you need to know to ride. I have done a small amount of trotting and I have also done some pole work. I have ridden bareback once which was helpful in order to learn how to control a horse with no saddle and how to move on from standing.
