Equine Work Experience
Pigeon House Equestrian – Head Groom I joined Pigeon House Equestrian in 2008 until 2014 working alongside the owner of this very busy riding school and livery yard and running of the business while owner was on holiday or off the yard. Running Pony Club for children ages 6-16 yrs. Looking after 20+ livery horses and 15+ riding school horses, 7 days a week come rain or shine including snow! Duties included:
In March 2008 I went to New Zealand to ride for event rider Annabelle Wigley and assist in the training of her young up and coming horses and yard duties. This experience was invaluable.
In February 2007 I rode out for the late John Manner’s for a short time helping exercise P2P and NH horses plus backing the youngsters.
