Equine Work Experience

I have ridden and looked after horses and ponies from a young age. Was a member of the Pony Club and attended camps and rallies for a couple of years as a young teenager. I completed an Equine Science degree at Sparsholt College in Hampshire, and also gained BHS Stages 1, 2 and Riding & Road Safety alongside this. I then went on to work as a groom on a variety of yards including: Talland School of Equitation, Nick Gauntlett Eventing, Moorcroft Racehorse Rehoming Centre, Mildmay Thoroughbred Stud, Knowleton Court Event Stables and The Kimblewick Hunt. I spent 10 months in Germany working at Paul Schockemohle Pferdehaltung GmbH, working with young showjumpers, before returning to the UK to work as Head Girl for Martin Bosley Racing who trains racehorses for flat and National Hunt racing for 4 years. From here I then took the job as Yard Manager at Shardeloes Farm Equestrain Centre which is a large BHS approved Riding School, Livery Yard and Where To Train Centre.
