Duties of Current Occupation
Mucking out, grooming, tacking up, teaching, turning in and out, poo-picking, feeds, handling cash (incl cashing up)
Equine Work Experience
Ridden and worked with horses for the past twelve years. Recently worked at a riding school handling all types of horses, including liveries. Had two horses on loan previously, one happy hacker and then a more challenging mare, who I brought on with the potential for sale. Cared for more than 40 horses on the yard doing all stable duties and care including rehabilitation. Taken charge of the yard on several occasions, overseeing the running and happy customers.
Type of Ride Work
All ridden work, but mostly flat and jumping up to 1m10. Ridden everything to ex-racers to happy hackers and challenging, bolshy horses to green babies.
Competition Details
Done low-level BSJA, ODE's, intro and prelim tests and sponsored rides.
