Duties of Current Occupation
I have volunteer at riding stables responsibility such as preparing feeds, weighing haynets, changing/topping up waters, turnout, exercising, clipping, bathing, grooming, mucking out, helping around the yard with maintenance.
Equine Work Experience
I have over 10 years experience in owning my own horses, which has come with good and bad experiences, I have competed up to 1m 20 in 2018, I have experience with off the track thoroughbreds, foals as young as 4 months old. Rescues and nervous horses. I have experienced horses colicing, choking, career ending injuries ive manage to help heal with a variety of trail and error. Tacking up, cleaning tack, clipping, braiding I have much more experience am happy to talk about.
Type of Ride Work
At the moment I mainly do flatwork however when I used to go to small events / fun rides / local shows. I used to do a lot of show jumping and working hunter classes.
Competition Details
I have not competed to a professional standard however with my ex event horse I cleaned him to a high standard (he was a flea bitten grey) clipped and plait his mane, kept him tidy for my shows.
