Duties of Current Occupation
Turning out and bringing in, mucking out, making feeds, getting horses ready for lessons, booking in, Poo picking, tack cleaning, sweeping
Equine Work Experience
I have worked with horses for about 5 years, mainly livery yards so I have plenty of experience with liveries and how to care for them. I have my level 2 nvq in horse care and riding through an apprenticeship which I successfully completed. I have good experience with quirky and difficult horses on the ground and I’m confident handling them.
Type of Ride Work
I don’t have a lot of experience in riding for work, I have just been riding leisurely in my free time whenever I have a horse available, however this is something I would be interested in. I haven’t ridden properly for about a year as I had a serious accident which stopped me riding for a while.
