Looking for a job preferably in southern England. I'm very hardworking, dependable, conscientious and a quick learner. Currently working at a riding school as an instructor for children (ages 8-16). Been working with young horses and competed myself at a smaller lever (up to 100cm). Experience as a showjumping groom at international level. I also have stable work experience. I have been training with both dressage trainers and jumping trainers with my horse for competitions a few years ago.
I do the horse stuff and Chris my husbands does all repairs and upkeep. We have been together for 16 years. We work great together.
I have 18 years of experience in the Hunter/Jumper discipline with a strong foundation in Dressage. Working with horses is more than just my passion, it’s my commitment and dream.
Currently working on a professional 5* Eventing Yard.
I have completed a 2 year college course at Moulton college studying equine rehab and therapy. I am qualified to a level 3 diploma standard with 2 x distinction *’s
I have worked in the equine industry for 15 years on a range of yards and with a range of people such as instructors, breeders, jockeys, show jumpers.
I have worked on various yards working with horses from riding school ponies, to show horses, competition horses, and hunters. I haven’t done any work with stallions however have worked on a stud yard for work experience so have seen the day to day life of handling a stallion and how it works.
I have ridden a range of horses, from rescues, youngsters, eventers, hunters and ex race horses.
I have experience in starting young horses as I have assisted and got on horses being broken in.
I have competed my own horse doing dressage and show jumping, this was a thing we did regularly. However haven’t competed for a few years.
I have also assisted and groomed at numerous shows for people.
