Duties of Current Occupation

General Yard duties Riding Lunging

Equine Work Experience

I’ve been riding horses since I was 5 and now studying equine management at shuttleworth college and on my last year to hopefully achieve a level 3 extended diploma. I also have a job where I do the general yard duties including mucking out, making feeds and hay nets, tidying yard etc. I also have started doing some natural horseman ship which I find really interesting and is something different. I also used to work at a riding school for 3 years so i have very good people skills and have worked with all ages and abilities.

Specialities

I work to a high standard keeping a tidy/clean yard is very important to me. I would say I’m quick at the general yard duties but still Put 110% effort in to everything.

Type of Ride Work

I’ve ridden and worked with plenty of horses over the past 12 years from very green horses, crazy horses and I’ve done a little bit of work young stock and again is something I would love to do more of.

Competition Details

I’ve done a few unaffiliated showjumping which I loved and definitely want to get back into and potentially go onto affiliated. I’ve not done anything with competition horses yet but it’s something I would really like to do .
