I am a current student at Sheffield Hallam University, I am in second year studying English literature.

Previously worked in a riding school as a stable hand and volunteered there. I am part of my university equestrian team where I have had regular lessons, friendly competitions and even a few polo lessons. I have loaned and owned horses in the past so fully aware of all the duties that come alongside horses.

I have experience with a range of horses mainly from a riding school but have come across stallions and foals at livery yards. I am efficient at yard jobs and relatively quick, I like a very tidy horse and yard so will always put the extra effort in. Definitely not afraid of hard work and will work early mornings, late nights and everything in between.

I have ridden horses freshly broken and ridden them away. I have assisted in starting a horse however, would nt be comfortable doing this myself. Also, I have experience with ex-racehorses and polo ponies so not afraid of a fresh horse. I can flatwork and jump but lack competition experience.

I have experience in showing shows, mainly in-hand and have competed in Equifest. I am looking to gain more competition experience this summer ready for when I finish uni and hope to pursue a different career back with horses.
