Equine Work Experience
I have been riding since a very young age, all types of horses - youngsters, competition, happy hacker. In my teen years I worked at a horse yard near Wimblington for 5 years, completing daily yard duties, exercising horses, helping clients etc. In 2017, I graduated from University with Second Class Honours in Equine Science with Rehabilitation Therapies. During my first year, I worked at Witcham House Farm with Katy Holder Vale's team for work experience with her stallions, foals, broodmares and youngsters. This was a fantastic experience and I learned a lot from Katy. From 2021 to 2025 I worked at a riding school based in Bourne, teaching clients of all ages and abilities. As well as teaching, my responsibilities included general yard duties, welfare of the horses, customer service and exercising the horses. Currently working as a freelance groom/yard assistant for Team Lanni.
