My husband and I are very flexible, reliable horse people who can work hard and independently. I´m a rider and riding coach for children, he can do all the work which needs to be done on a farm. We`re looking for a temporary Job with horses as due to Covid we had to change our plans as we can`t travel to Australia this year. We have fully working rights in the EU but are open to every country if we`re allowed to travel/work. We both are speaking German and English.
I work on yards daily, livery, competition, hunt, have experience with stallions, broodmares, youngsters and foals. I am often working sole charge, or in a small team.
I have been freelance for the past year and a half, previously I've worked being employed on yards and volunteering on yards from the age of 14. As well as owning and competing my own horses i have worked on hunt, eventing, dealers, livery, competition yards and riding schools.
I have experience working with a range of horses, from your average family pony to your competition stallions. I'm used to working quickly, yet maintaining a high standard, due to often working alone on yards.
When working in a team I'm good at communicating with other to ensure that jobs are getting done, and trying to make sure the yard is running as smoothly as possible.
I have experience with a lot of competition horses, specifically eventing. A lot of them being green, and or young. I have experience in starting horses, getting hunters and eventers fit and ready to go out and bringing horses back into work from time off and or injuries.
I have been a competition groom on a private eventing yard, my day included arriving early to do the yard, turn out the horses that are competing and also going with them on the day to make sure all the horses are ready to go on time and are looking their best.
I compete myself in dressage and showjumping and hoping to be out eventing before the end of the season.
