Duties of Current Occupation
I am responsible for young people, assisting & encouraging them with daily tasks. On the yard I care for stallions and young stock, yard maintenance etc
Equine Work Experience
I have owned horses for over 11 years. I have a 24yr old sport horse and a 3 year old Connemara whom I am in the process of backing.
I have worked temporarily on a sport horse stud yard and currently work a few days at a local Connemara and Welsh section B stud.
I have completed a Diploma in Equine massage therapy and have gone on to qualify Veterinary Physiotherapist with CEPT who are accredited by Middlesex University.
While I have no written equine care/ management qualifications I feel that my experience and employment have provided me with wealth of knowledge.
I also spent 3 months in Canada working at a stud breaking back and riding away their young horses. This experience gave me a new level of knowledge and it has helped me significantly in the training of my own youngster.
Type of Ride Work
Mainly flat work and low level dressage. As above I have worked with your horses also.
