Duties of Current Occupation

Training horses and ponies for private enjoyment, sales and or competition use. UKCC British Eventing Accredited Coach. Training at camps, clinics and private sessions. House sitting, head girl.

Equine Work Experience

I have competed up to 3* level in British Eventing. Have competed BD at national final level and have show jumped up to 1.20. Have had many successes on several different horses owned by different people. I was head girl at an event yard for 6 years where I then left to be self employed. I have a wide list of clientele solely built up on word of mouth.

I have my UKCC level 2 Accreditation in British Eventing. Along with my current riding I now coach private lessons in all three phases, hold my own clinics and coach a camps.

I used to do a lot of house sitting. Looking after dogs, horses and cats.

Specialities

Eventing, dressage, show jumping. All Yard duties, competition prep, sole charge. Coaching all ages and abilities. Can lead a team or work alone.

The last 3 years I have worked very closely with an autistic teen. I spend x2 days per week, either with her horse or other activities. I have gained many CPD’s through this line of work and have gained a huge amount of knowledge around helping people on the spectrum.

Type of Ride Work

I am just under under 50kg so able to ride almost all ponies too! I used to do a lot of breaking, however the last three years I have mainly trained the rider and the horse to achieve their goal. What ever that may be.
