Qualifications
I have previously got some qualifications when I was looking to teach (online courses). I’ve completed some online courses through the BGA. Animal management at college.
Duties of Current Occupation
Been responsible for 3 horses while the owner has been away for the last year. Sole care for them. Previously worked on sales yards, livery yards with 30+ horses including high level competition horses
Equine Work Experience
Worked as a freelance groom for the past 4 years doing a bit of everything from yard work, to riding, tidying (manes/tails/body), starting a bit of equine photography, worked on many different types of yards with various types of horses. Lots of ex-racers that I’ve helped to rehab and re-back etc
Specialities
Worked with foals (briefly). Take pride in mane tidying to a high standard. Worked with very high strung competition horses
Type of Ride Work
Ridden breakers and newly broken horses often, competition dressage horses, owned and produced my own mare to low level sj and dressage before she sadly injured herself. Jumped up to courses of 1m but lone jump 1m20. Ridden medium dressage movements. Not hunted or raced.
