Equine Work Experience
Own horses from the age of 12 and was in the Pony Club. Polo groom for 20yrs, working in the UK and abroad, sole charge, worked with a team and management roles. Worked in an equine veterinary clinic, in theatre aswell as on the yard. Driving horse box. Freelance groom in between some polo seasons. Worked with young stock. Have my Intelligent Horsemanship 5 day foundation course and Equine psychology certificates.
Specialities
On the ground care of equines, rest and rehab, looking after old horses needs, calm in an emergency.
Type of Ride Work
Used to ride a lot, including making young horses and schooling and exercising polo ponies. Prefer to either hack out or stay on the ground now.
