Level 3 equine management diploma 1st year *merit. Level 3 equine management diploma 2nd year *merit.
I currently work night shifts at an elderly care home. I spend my time getting to know the residents and try to make their stay at the home as pleasant as possible.
Just finished my Level 3 equine management diploma at Bicton College, earning a Merit in both years with my riding modules all at distinction. Before joining Bicton College I have owned and low-level competed my own horses, (never affiliated) ridden for other people and at riding schools. While at college I was taught and regularly practised; bandaging, pulling/trimming & clipping. One of our modules was teaching, something I thoroughly enjoyed and is something I want to peruse in the future. I've spent my work experience (2015) at Mary Hodgeson's 'Horse play' which teaches parelli horsemanship where I brought my own horse to help me break him in, I also had to do all the general yard work, helped exercise horses and went out cubbing. I then spent my work experience (2017) at Polmesk Stud, where I witnessed a mature stallion castration, aided with a natural field birth, ran out the colts and exercised the ridden mares.
*Dressage *Show jumping *Hunting I enjoy all disciplines.
Only competed unaffiliated in showjumping and dressage.
