BSc Rural Land Management from the Royal Agricultural University

I have recently completed university, where I studied BSc Rural Land Management. I have worked with horses both before my time at university, and during part-time. I currently own an ex-racehorse, that I am rehabilitating and retraining.

I have worked on a variety of yards, and I am happy to supply my CV on request. I have worked as a self-employed groom and rider for private yards, livery yards, eventers (intermediate to 4*), a classical dressage yard (abroad in Italy), and the HAC Light Cavalry in Windsor Park. I have always owned my own horses (native ponies and ex-racehorses), showing and competing at a local level.

I am interested in the retraining of ex-racehorses, and in rehabilitation work. I have a very good understanding of equine nutrition, and I have excellent horse husbandry skills. I enjoy schooling horses on the flat and groundwork exercises, such as long-reining.

I have ridden ponies for showing and working hunter classes, young horses, retrained ex-racehorses, classical dressage, and schooled and exercised up to 4* event horses. I have also ridden with military tack, and trained cavalry horses for displays and performances.

I have mainly competed in showing, such as native, working hunter and ROR classes, and dressage.
