I haven’t done any equine related courses. However I did do agriculture at college. I’ve been around horses since a very young age.

I’ve worked on a couple of yards from carriage driving, dressage to racing. I came away from horses 3 years ago and really felt like a bit of me has been missing since. I’m a hard working woman who thrives of high intensity environments. I currently work for a water company and day to day hasn’t really been the same as what it used to be in the cold winters on the yard with morale still relatively high. I do strongly believe that the happiness of your horses comes from the yard and we all know as grooms if you don’t have someone motivated and willing to go the extra mile it can really put a damper on everyone’s mood (even the horses). I worked on 2 carriage driving yards, a dressage yard and a racing yard. In an ideal scenario I’d like to remain in these fields however I do love hunting and would love to get back to that. I also have experience in producing my own youngsters (breaking in to drive).

I currently am working on a yard caring for 18 horses by myself. That’s doing everything. I’m fast but very efficient and like to make sure jobs are done properly, I work along side stallions, foals, broodmares, youngsters and oldies. When working I strongly believe that what work you do reflects you as a person, I’m had working and dedicated to working with horses it’s my passion to continue. I’m a very good team leader and will try and solve any problem thrown at me too the best of my ability.

I have competed with my boss like stated above we have competition horses, so I’ve had the privilege of competing 1 seasons with them. I mucked out Plaited up Harnessed up Ridden some during comp time Put to carriage Fed up Watered Health checked daily
