East Durham College Houghall Sep 2014 Jun 2015 Diploma Horse care Level 1 UK Full Driving Licence (including trailer towing category) I have certificates for, Manual Handling, First Aid, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Waste Management and have enhanced DBS clearance for my present job. I have also attended a COSHH course and have completed and passed pallet truck training course. I have also drove a minibus with kids on before as well as towed a trailer on many occasion.

Currently I work full time at my local stables and my daily duties are mucking out , feeding, grooming , tack up for lessons as well as teaching pupils to ride. In the past I have worked voluntarily on a private yard with 8 horses.

I currently have my own horse which I have owned for 11 years, taking care of his basic needs like mucking out, washing and grooming him , feeding and excercising him as well as loving him all that time.And previously in the past I have also worked voluntarily on a private yard with 8 horses which I used to muck out, excercise by hacking and schooling , feed, groom and wash for shows on a regular basis all by myself and most recently I have been working voluntarily at my local riding stables where I keep my horse at and I have helped muck out, feed , groom, tack up and turn in/out there 21 horses that they own as well teach pupils to ride and also hack groups out on a daily basis.

Yes at my current job at my local riding stables I work with foals and yearlings on a daily basis and I have also worked with stallions in the past. I have lead a team of cleaners in one of my previous jobs so I know what a supervising role feels like as well as now in my current job as I lead my team daily, where I allocate jobs for example helping turn in and out our high amount of horses as well as working closely as part of a team with our yard grooms and instructors.

I have ridden Flatwork horses and ponies in the past and currently as well as jumping ones in the past and currently, and finally just happy hackers. And I have ridden a wide range horses including cobs , thoroughbreds/ex racers,hunt horses and Irish draughts.

I have previously worked on a private competition yard where I had to the compete horses for the owner as well prepare for the shows for example like washing , grooming ,tacking them up and excercising them.
